Protein overnight oats are one of my favorite go-to breakfasts! Especially when I have to go to work early. It’s a nice quick, and easy start to your morning. Plus super healthy!

Do you find yourself looking for a quick and easy breakfast in the morning? Sometimes it’s hard to enjoy a healthy breakfast when you are rushing out the door.

I know it can be tempting to stop and grab fast food, but try this healthy, easy and quick meal.

To make this, you need to start the evening before. It’s even more appealing knowing you do the work for it before you go to bed. That way it’s all ready for you in the morning. One less thing to think about.

Also, overnight oats are very customizable. Once you know the basics you can make it however your heart desires. Add your favorite fruit, add yogurt, etc.

Follow the directions below!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup old fashioned oats

1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 serving of protein powder (my fav is the Advocare BodyLean)

2 teaspoons chia seeds (optional)

1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or any sweetener you prefer

1 banana or any favorite fruit

Directions:

1. In a mason jar, combine all ingredients but the banana.

2. Place the lid on the mason jar and shake to evenly mix everything together.

3. Place the mason jar in the fridge overnight.

4. In the morning, shake the mason jar before opening it.

5. Add the fruit and stir together.

6. Enjoy this quick and easy breakfast!
