With pregnancy comes along a lot of changes, one of those including the skin.

For many women, pregnancy brings glowing skin, rosy cheeks, and shiny hair. Others, however, can experience skin changes that aren’t so attractive, including acne, dark spots, and stretch marks.

On top of all the changes, we come across products and ingredients that are not safe during pregnancy. A lot of which are in our everyday products. Now, on top of our skin going crazy we have to find a whole new skincare routine.

Thankfully for you 😉 I have come up with the ultimate pregnancy-safe skincare routine!

With all of this being said, please keep in mind that everyone is different, this is just the routine that works best for me. Im no expert on skincare. I encourage you to do your own research.

All of these products are super affordable, and you can purchase them just by clicking on the link of each products name or the picture below of each product!

Face

The Ordinary // Squaline Cleanser // $7.90 – A Gentle, Moisturizing Facial Cleanser.

The Ordinary // Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution // $10.00 – Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates the skin. This 7% toning solution offers mild exfoliation for improved skin radiance and visible clarity. The formula also improves the appearance of skin texture with continued use. (This I have heard mixed things about. Personally it works really well with my skin, but in some cases can be a bit strong for some women. I highly suggest doing a patch test if you are interested in using this product)

The Ordinary // Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 // $7.50 – A hydration support formula with ultra-pure, vegan hyaluronic acid. Dont let the word acid scare you. This product is gental on the skin, and helps to provided moisture.

The Ordinary // Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% // $6.50 – High-strength vitamin and mineral blemish formula.

The Ordinary // Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA // $5.80 – Surface hydration formula. Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF) are elements that keep the outer layer of the skin protected and well-hydrated.

The Ordinary // Mineral UV Filters SPF 15 with Antioxidants // $8.90 – SPF protection along with antioxidant, hydration, and anti-irritant support.

Belly

Oil // Burts Bees Mama Hydrating & Smoothing Skincare with Vitamine E // $6.99 – his 100% natural origin body oil was created specifically for moms to be as it helps recondition and revitalize skin throughout pregnancy keeping skin soft.

Butter // Burts Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter // $12.79 – This fragrance-free belly butter gently and safely moisturizes as your skin stretches during pregnancy and is formulated without phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, or SLS

Intake

Big Water Bottle // $25.99 – Life SAVER you guys if you do not have a big water bottle that you are drinking from daily, you need this one. I had it for a few months prior to pregnancy but really these past few months it has been a super important part of my daily routine. The days when I don’t have it with me I notice I will get a headache, feel tired or fatigued and if I drink coffee it hits me way harder when I am not drinking water throughout the day. I have a routine of filling it up with ice and filtered water right when my day begins, and I bring it everywhere with me.

Prenatal Vitamins // Nature Made Prenatal Multivitamin + DHA // $11.00 – Im sure your Dr. has already informed you on the importance of these. I take these every morning when i wake up right after filling up my water bottle.

Collagen // Vital Protiens Collagen Peptides Powder // $25.00 – Helps improve the health of your hair, skin, nails, joints and ligaments, and tendons. I add this either to my coffee in the morning or a smoothie.

There you have it the ultimate pregnancey-safe skincare routine: inside and out
